My warmest greetings to the International Peace Diplomacy Corps, Inc. (IPDCI) as you celebrate the United Nation’s Observance of the International Peace Day.
There are a lot of challenges confronting our lives, whether as individuals or as nations. Among these is the proliferation of conflict and violence in many parts of the world. Challenges like these may be overwhelming but could be overcome through cooperation and meaningful engagement.
I thank and salute IPDCI for spearheading the “Peace Diplomacy Convention” which shall serve as a venue to share insights and best practices to address some issues of international concerns.
As Senator of the Republic of the Philippines, rest assured that I will legislate measures that will ensure peace and order, strengthen criminal and social justice system, reform anti-corruption efforts, and uphold human rights.
I look forward to working with each of you to turn our collective goals into reality. In our continuous cooperation, we shall be able to stay on the right track towards a stronger world and better future.
