I just finished reading the last of several short stories in a book “The Gospel of Mercy According to Juan/a” which Bishop Pablo Virgilio S. David, D.D. co-authored with Ms. Nina L.B. Tomen.

Wonderful, wonderful book! I can’t thank enough Maam Karina David, Bishop Ambo’s sister-in-law, for giving it to me in one of her visits here in my detention quarters.

This book is a compilation of heart-warming and spiritually uplifting real-life accounts on, or encounters, with mercy involving ordinary folks in ordinary settings.

Profoundly moving in its simplicity, the book depicts the omnipresence of mercy. Mercy or compassion strikes anywhere, anytime and on anyone, unexpectedly.

Need an extra nourishment for your soul? Suggest you get hold of a copy of this book.

As I struggle to attain justice and liberty, I fully embrace this huge crisis in my life as a most humbling and purifying experience for me.
