This is so wrong and sordid!
Using the perjured testimonies of two (2) of the very same witnesses in Parts 1 and 2, the Senate has become a willing party, and complicit to the perpetuation of lies against me.
Certain senators, at yesterday’s Blue Ribbon Committee hearing, practically acted as the handlers of these “resource persons” and showing utter disrespect, if not contempt of, a jailed colleague, succeeded in foisting upon the proceedings the recycled and enhanced lies of Ragos and Ablen about me.
Ragos and Ablen, like the NBP convicts-witnesses in my drug cases, were granted immunity in exchange for their brazenly false testimonies against me. Never mind implicating themselves, as they did in all three (3) proceedings (the House inquiry, the trial in the RTC and the Senate inquiry), what matters is I get crushed.
The highly dubious and questionable immunity, on top of other illicit considerations, granted to these 2 NBI scalawags and the NBP convicts-witnesses emboldens them to concoct lies and more lies about me.
That’s what they were told to do in exchange for their exculpation from their self-confessed involvement in various irregular, corrupt and criminal activities within BuCor/NBP. The deal was nefariously simple: Just point to de Lima and you’re off the hook. Otherwise, you’ll be jailed too or, worse, killed!
Nakakalungkot at nakaka-galit na may mga kapwa akong senador na sumama sa pag set-up at pagdurog na naman sa akin sa hearing kahapon.
Halos tatlong taon na akong nakakulong, ako pa rin ang may kasalanan sa pagkakalat ng inyong gobyerno? Hindi tanga ang mga tao, hindi kasintanga ng mga naniniwala pa sa inyo.
Inuulit ko: Hindi po ako korap. Hindi po ako kriminal. Kailan man, wala po akong tinanggap o tinatanggap na pera galing sa mga iligal na kalakaran dyan sa BuCor/NBP o saan man o kanino man…
