Today, Sunday, is my 31st day of deprivation of liberty.
Sunday and Wednesday have become my favorite days. A mass is held in my detention quarters on these days, as graciously officiated by Fr. Robert Reyes, my foremost spiritual adviser.
Each Mass is a uniquely beautiful experience for me.
The presiding priest talks less during homily and gives way to his flock for a sharing session.
Even then, each of Fr. Robert’s homily is, without exception, profoundly remarkable, as it is inspiring.
Mostly with surprising eloquence and depth, the impromptu testimonies form randomly selected participants (relatives, friends and supporters), are a tearjerker for me. I cannot help but be moved by their spontaneous outpouring of love and patriotic sentiments.
Extra courage is what I truly gain after every Mass.
Thank you Fr. Robert! Thank you all!
